International Conference of the International Association for the Study of Edith Stein's Philosophy
The International Association for the Study of Edith Stein's Philosophy (IASPES), immediately nicknamed "The Stein Circle" by its early adherents, was founded in June 2009.
It is made up of Stein scholars from all over the world.
Its aim is to explore and disseminate Edith Stein's thought by organising conferences, preparing publications and creating a platform for contact and discussion among Stein scholars.
The Escuela Universitaria de Magisterio Fray Luis de León is a private higher education centre, located in the city of Valladolid. It offers degree courses in Primary and Infant Education, both on-site and blended learning. It is a centre attached to the Catholic University of Avila (UCAV).
The Universidad Católica Santa Teresa de Ávila was founded by the bishopric of the diocese of Ávila in 1996.
It comprises 3 schools: Sciences and Arts, Social Sciences and Law, and Health Sciences.
